Welcome to Ventival ("we," "our," or "us"). Ventival Inc. operates the Ventival platform, including our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Platform.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the Platform.

2.1 Personal Information

We may collect the following personal information when you register, use, or interact with our Platform:

• Identity Data: Full name, username, date of birth, gender
• Contact Data: Email address, phone number, billing address, delivery address
• Financial Data: Bank account details, payment card details (processed securely via third-party payment processors)
• Profile Data: Your interests, preferences, event history, feedback, and survey responses
• Business Data: For vendors — business name, category, service descriptions, pricing information, portfolio images, and verification documents

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

When you access our Platform, we automatically collect certain information, including:

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, browser type
• Usage Data: Pages viewed, time spent on pages, clicks, navigation paths, search queries
• Location Data: Approximate location derived from IP address; precise location only with your explicit consent

2.3 Information from Third Parties

2.4 Waitlist, Coming-Soon and Contact Forms

While the Platform is being built, you can join our waitlist or contact us through forms on our website. These forms collect only what you type into them:

• Sign-in and sign-up notification forms: your name, email address and the role you are interested in (Host, Organizer, Vendor or Planner)
• Host and vendor waitlist forms: your name, email address, optional phone number, and the type of event or business category you tell us about
• Contact form: your name, email address and message

We ask for your consent before you submit a waitlist form, and we use this information only to tell you about early access and launch, and to reply to your messages. The data is stored in our database hosted by Supabase, and confirmation emails are sent through Resend. You can ask us to delete your details or withdraw your consent at any time by emailing privacy@ventival.com.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Platform Operations: To create and manage your account, process transactions, and facilitate event planning, vendor booking, and ticket sales
• Communication: To send event confirmations, booking updates, QR codes via WhatsApp or email, and respond to your inquiries
• Personalization: To recommend vendors, events, and services based on your preferences and location
• AI Features: To power our AI event planner, which helps hosts find and book vendors suited to their needs
• Safety & Security: To verify identities, prevent fraud, enforce our terms, and protect our users
• Analytics: To understand how our Platform is used and improve our services
• Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• Between Platform Users: When a host books a vendor, necessary contact and event details are shared between them. When a guest RSVPs or purchases a ticket, the host/organizer receives relevant attendee information.
• Payment Processors: We share financial data with third-party payment processors to facilitate direct payments between users. Ventival never holds a wallet — payments flow directly between the parties in the transaction.
• Service Providers: We share data with trusted service providers who assist us in operating the Platform (e.g., cloud hosting, Google Analytics (with your consent), customer support, email/WhatsApp delivery).
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security audits. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. We may also retain certain information as required by law, for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes), or to enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect and track information about your activity on our Platform. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Platform.

Our website uses your browser's local storage to remember your cookie choice and whether you have already joined our waitlist. We use Google Analytics only if you accept analytics cookies in our cookie banner; until then, no Google Analytics code is loaded and no data is sent to Google. When enabled, Google Analytics sets cookies (names starting with _ga) and records pages visited, buttons clicked, waitlist form submissions (which form, not what you typed), the website or app that referred you, and approximate location and device type. We turn off Google advertising features and ad personalization. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" in the website footer, and withdrawing consent stops Google Analytics from running and removes its cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, and we serve our fonts and images from our own servers.

• Essential Cookies: Required for the Platform to function properly (authentication, security)
• Analytics Cookies: Google Analytics, only with your consent, to understand how users interact with the Platform
